Frequently Asked Questions

How do I play?

Move the sheriff with the L/R rocker (there are four spots) and press FIRE to shoot straight up. Smash the plates, bottles and glasses the bartender throws: one, two or three items in a single shot score 10, 50 or 150. When a customer stands up, something is coming: his ashtrays land on the two left spots, her apples on the two right spots. Getting hit is a miss. Tap HELP below the screen for the full rules.

What about the dynamite?

From the 2nd pattern, dynamite flies across the saloon — shooting it is a miss. In the 3rd pattern the bartender drops dynamite on the floor at the far right. Walk to the far right and press RIGHT once more: the sheriff pours whiskey on the fuse and puts it out. Do it before the fuse burns down.

I keep losing the showdown

After 20 hits the desperado walks in and hides behind the bar. He fakes. Wait until he is fully out, kneeling and aiming, then press FIRE — draw too early and he fires back. The overturned table stops only 3 bullets, losing a piece with each. Hit him 3 times to win.

I can't see the leaderboard

The leaderboard uses Apple Game Center. Sign in to Game Center in iPhone Settings, then tap RANK below the screen. You can play the full game without signing in; your score just won't be posted. Scores are posted at every GAME OVER and Game Center keeps your best.

There's sound even with the silent switch on

That's intentional, like most games. To play quietly, tap "♪ ON" below the screen to switch to "♪ OFF" — the setting is remembered. The game's sound mixes with music you're already playing.

My high score disappeared

High score and best level are stored only on this iPhone. Deleting the app, restoring the device or moving to a new phone removes them. If you're signed in to Game Center, your best score stays on the leaderboard.

Keyboard and controllers

Bluetooth keyboard: ← → or A/D to move, Space to fire, Enter to start, P to pause. MFi, Xbox and PlayStation controllers work too: D-pad left/right to move, A/B to fire, Menu to start.
